The Sadiqoon parliamentary met on Saturday with the Secretary-General of the Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, to discuss the latest developments in its parliamentary work and to review the most prominent issues and legislation affecting the interests of broad segments of the Iraqi people.
During the meeting, the parliamentary work process and the importance of following up on priority legislation were discussed. His Eminence Sheikh Al-Khazali stressed the need to follow up on and finalize important legislation, foremost among which are the laws of the Popular Mobilization Forces, in order to guarantee the legal rights and entitlements of the fighters.
The meeting comes as part of a series of ongoing meetings held by the bloc to monitor parliamentary performance and to identify the most important priority issues and legislation that affect the interests of citizens.
