The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, received today, Tuesday, in Baghdad, Mr. Hoshyar Zebari, a leader and member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and the accompanying delegation of party members.
During the meeting, ways to strengthen relations were discussed, common issues were reviewed, and the possibility of enhancing communication and cooperation on issues of concern to the country was explored.
The meeting also discussed ways to coordinate efforts to support the government and ensure the success of its endeavors, while emphasizing the importance of dialogue as the best way to address the outstanding problems between Baghdad and the Kurdistan Region.
At the end of the meeting, the guests praised Sheikh Qais al-Khazali’s candor and clarity of positions, stressing their appreciation for his constant defense of the country’s issues, far removed from flattery.
