Dr. Laith al-Khazali, Assistant of the General Secretary of the Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq, affirmed on Thursday that the passage of Mr. Ali Falih al-Zaidi’s government and its gaining the confidence of the Iraqi Parliament, despite the challenges and complexities that accompanied its path, represents an important political milestone that calls for prioritizing the spirit of national responsibility and working hard to meet the aspirations of the citizens.
Dr. Al-Khazali explained in a post on the “X” platform that the next stage requires the new government to be “a government of the citizen first,” by establishing trust between the state and society, and moving towards building solid institutions capable of addressing crises, strengthening the economy, and improving the reality of services, in a way that contributes to achieving stability and preserving the prestige of the state.
He pointed out that the government’s success in performing its duties will establish a more effective and equitable phase for all Iraqis, while expressing his congratulations on this political achievement and his wishes for success and guidance for the new government in leading the next phase.
