Dr. Al-Khazali on the anniversary of Ashura: We stand before the greatest epic of defiance and dignity written by Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
Dr. Laith Al-Khazali, Assistant of the General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl Al-Haq, affirmed on Thursday that the arrival of the tenth of Muharram represents a station to stand in reverence before the greatest epic of pride and dignity, which Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) wrote with his pure blood, indicating that Karbala remained an eternal school for the free, and a lesson from which eyes and minds draw inspiration for the meanings of steadfastness and guidance.
Dr. Al-Khazali said in a post on the “X” platform: Peace be upon Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), who stood firm like a towering mountain in the face of calamities, and who had a patient heart and an immortal voice that taught humanity that truth is not measured by the number of its followers, but by the steadfastness of its people.
He added that Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) manifested his faith in all the situations of Karbala, until the tongue of the situation and the word spoke that the pleasure of God Almighty is more precious than life, and that death in the cause of truth is the life that does not end.
Dr. Al-Khazali concluded by praying that God Almighty would greatly reward those who mourn the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), and that He would make everyone among those who follow his path and remain steadfast in his principles.
