Sheikh Al-Khazali calls on all Iraqis, regardless of their background, to participate in the funeral procession of the martyred Sayyid Khamenei (may God sanctify his soul) ... In a handwritten letter.
The General Secretary of the Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, called on Tuesday for active participation in the funeral procession of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Husseini al-Khamenei (may God sanctify his soul), stressing that this occasion represents a national and religious milestone for renewing the pledge of loyalty to this great figure.
Sheikh Al-Khazali said, in a handwritten message addressed to all Iraqis, that the night of receiving the pure body of Sayyid Khamenei (may God sanctify his soul) will be a night in which sadness is mixed with faith and steadfastness, describing the martyred Sayyid as “the righteous servant, the devout scholar, and the leader,” calling for receiving him with sad hearts and tearful eyes, while adhering to the covenant and remaining steadfast on the path of truth and the word of truth.
Sheikh Al-Khazali affirmed that Iraq, with all its components and spectrums, will participate in the funeral ceremonies, indicating that Iraqis from among Muslims, Christians, Sabeans, and Yazidis, as well as Arabs, Kurds, Turkmen, and Shabaks, and Shiites and Sunnis, will be united by one position and one message that embodies unity in the face of falsehood.
His Eminence concluded his message by emphasizing that participating in the funeral procession represents a clear message at a stage where truth is distinguished from falsehood, citing the Almighty’s words: “That He might establish the truth and abolish falsehood, even though the criminals dislike it,” in confirmation of steadfastness on principles and adherence to the truth.
