The General Secretary of the Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, praised on Thursday the broad public participation of the Iraqi people in the massive million-strong funeral procession for the Supreme Leader, Sayyid Ali Khamenei (may God Almighty be pleased with him), expressing his deep gratitude and appreciation to all participants.
Sheikh Al-Khazali said in a handwritten letter that the sons of the Iraqi people have proven once again that they are people of truth and loyalty to their religious authorities and leaders, and that they embody the values ​​of sacrifice and giving for the sake of religion and faith.
He added that this stance embodies the faith-based identity of the Iraqis, stressing that they have proven that they are the people of Imam Mahdi (may God Almighty hasten his reappearance), the ones who pave the way for his blessed reappearance, and are ready to sacrifice everything for his sake.
Sheikh Al-Khazali concluded by extending his congratulations and thanks to the people of Iraq, saying: "Congratulations to you, and thank you, thank you".
