A parliamentary delegation headed by Awad arrives in Basra to follow up on the repercussions of the Kuwaiti attack on Iraqi fishermen.
A parliamentary delegation headed by the head of the Sadiqoon parliamentary, Engineer Uday Awad, arrived today, Tuesday, in Basra Governorate, to follow up on the repercussions of the attack committed by the Kuwaiti side against Iraqi fishermen, which resulted in the martyrdom of one of the fishermen.
Upon arrival, the delegation immediately began its field investigations to determine the circumstances of the incident and document all its details, as part of following up on the case on the ground and reviewing its details.
This move comes as a prelude to taking the necessary parliamentary and legal measures, in order to ensure justice for the families of the martyr and those affected, to preserve the rights of Iraqi fishermen, to hold accountable those responsible for this attack, and to defend the sovereignty of Iraq and protect the rights of its citizens.
