The General Secretary of the Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, received today, Monday, in his office in Baghdad, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Iraq, Mr. Anil Bora Inan.
During the meeting, diplomatic relations between Iraq and Turkey were discussed, as well as ways to deepen prospects for joint cooperation and achieve sovereignty in a way that serves the mutual interests of the two countries. The possibility of expanding the partnership in various political, security and economic fields was also discussed, in a way that contributes to strengthening stability and development in the region.
Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing dialogue and joint coordination and working to develop bilateral relations on the basis of mutual respect and common interests, in a way that enhances security and stability and supports regional cooperation efforts.
