The General Secretary of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, His Eminence Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, received in his office in Baghdad today, Wednesday, the Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Farhad Atroushi, and the parliamentary delegation accompanying him, in the presence of the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Sheikh Adnan al-Faihan, and a number of members of the Sadiqoon parliamentary.
The meeting addressed the latest developments on the political scene, emphasizing the importance of expediting the formation of a government that aligns with citizens' aspirations and strengthens political stability. Discussions also covered the functioning of the legislative body and the need to intensify coordination and efforts among parliamentary blocs to enhance parliamentary performance and accelerate the passage of legislation that serves the public interest.
The participants stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination among national forces, in order to consolidate stability and activate the oversight and legislative roles of the House of Representatives, in line with the requirements of the current stage and to achieve the interests of the Iraqi people.
