Sheikh Al-Khazali said in a statement via the “X” platform that hearts are filled with sadness and pain at the martyrdom of a number of the sons of the Popular Mobilization Forces, offering his deepest condolences to the families of the martyrs, asking God Almighty to have mercy on them and grant them paradise, and to grant the wounded a speedy recovery.

His Eminence pointed out that the actions of foreign countries, some of which claim to be allies and others to be sister nations, in attacking Iraqi security forces and killing their sons under the pretext of claims that have not been proven true, and without allowing the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces to take the required legal and security measures if they are proven, constitute a violation and disregard for Iraqi sovereignty and national dignity, stressing that this is something that no honorable Iraqi would accept.
Sheikh Al-Khazali reiterated his condemnation of this attack, warning of its serious repercussions, and stressing the need to unify the position of the Iraqi people, its political forces and social activities, and to close ranks in the face of this great crime, in addition to supporting the government and its efforts in taking the necessary decisions to achieve sovereignty and defend national dignity.
He also stressed the need to complete the withdrawal of foreign forces from Iraqi territory and to work on developing defense capabilities by purchasing air defense systems, enabling Iraq to protect its skies and prevent repeated attacks and violations, noting that the people of Iraq are capable of defending their land and making the aggressors pay a painful price if they transgress against it.
